San Diego Beer News Awards Voting is LIVE!
Vote for your favorite local beers and breweries then attend the San Diego Beer News Awards Ceremony on March 28
Thanks to the assistance of local craft-beer fans, the official ballot for the San Diego Beer News Awards is finalized and ready to go. From February 13-28, you can click the button below to access the ballot and cast your votes for your favorite San Diego County brewing companies, beers and brewery staff.
Make your voice heard then make plans to join members of the San Diego beer community for the 2023 San Diego Beer News Awards Ceremony, which will take place on the evening of Tuesday, March 28 at AleSmith Brewing. Admission will be free and everyone is invited. Medals, plaques and trophies will be awarded to winners in all of the following categories:
- Best Brewing Company by Region: North, South, East, West, Central
- Best New Brewery
- Best Expansion Project
- Best Interior / Exterior Design
- Best Can / Bottle Art
- Best Food / Menu
- Best Customer Service
- San Diego Vanguard Brewer Award
- Best Beers by Style: West Coast IPA, Hazy IPA, Imperial IPA, Niche IPA, Hoppy Beer, Pilsner, German Beer, UK & Irish Ale, Belgian Ale, Sour Ale, Barrel-aged Sour / Wild Beer, Coffee Beer, Light Beer / Adjunct Lager, Strong Beer, Barrel-aged Beer, Non-Alcoholic Beer, Collaboration Beer
As it did last year, the ceremony will follow an awards-show format, with brewery owners, brewers and staffers, local media personalities and members of the local beer community slashing open envelopes and announcing winners. Brewers will be able to collect their awards against the backdrop of applause from their valued fans and colleagues. We hope you’ll join in the fun and look forward to seeing you there!
