CBC & CiderCon to merge
The Brewers Association's Craft Brewer Conference will co-locate with country's largest cider gathering in San Antonio, Texas in April 2027
The Brewers Association (BA) and the American Cider Association (ACA) today announced that CiderCon and the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America (CBC) will co-locate in San Antonio, Texas on April 5–7, 2027.
The collaboration brings together two leading gatherings for independent beverage alcohol producers while maintaining the distinct identities, communities and educational experiences that attendees value most.
“Independent beverage producers are navigating many of the same opportunities and challenges, from evolving consumer preferences to operational pressures and innovation across categories,” said BA President and CEO Bart Watson. “By bringing these communities together under one roof, we can create more opportunities for learning, connection and business growth, while preserving the unique culture and purpose of each event.”
CBC will continue to serve as the premier gathering for craft brewers, featuring world-class education, North America’s largest brewing trade show, and opportunities to connect with peers and suppliers from around the world. CiderCon will continue to provide dedicated cider-focused education, networking and community-building tailored specifically to the needs of independent cider producers.
“This partnership reflects the increasingly collaborative nature of the independent beverage alcohol industry,” said American Cider Association Board of Directors President Christine Walter, who also owns Bauman’s Cider in Gervais, Oregon. “Co-locating CiderCon with CBC creates exciting new opportunities for cidermakers through expanded networking, educational resources and trade show access, while still preserving our cider-specific technical education tracks, Cider Share and the traditions our community has built over the years that make CiderCon so special.”
The co-location is expected to deliver expanded value for attendees, exhibitors and sponsors alike by creating broader networking opportunities, increased exposure to new products and services, and enhanced educational experiences across adjacent beverage alcohol segments.
Additional details about programming, registration, special events, and how both conferences will operate together will be announced in the coming months.
