Vista’s 10-day celebration of craft beer
Downtown Vista businesses team with San Diego Brewers Guild to present a multi-faceted slate of beer-centric events from June 20-30

Downtown Vista and the San Diego Brewers Guild will launch a 10-day celebration of craft beer on Friday, June 20 that includes a strolling art exhibit, a fun “beer-versus-wine” tasting event and the return of the popular Rhythm & Brews beer-and-music festival.
The celebration includes the following events.
- The BevArt Show, June 20-30: A free art exhibit along Vista’s Paseo Santa Fe District will showcase the creative works used on beer labels, merchandising, apparel, murals and more. Visitors can stroll down the corridor and listen to brief audio recordings from individual artists and designers describing their work.
- Beer vs. Wine Sip-Off, June 27: A good-natured panel will debate “who’s most awesome: beer or wine drinkers?” The debate evolves during a blind taste test of six San Diego produced beers and wine. Audience members also get to sample the beverages to vote for their favorites. The recorded debate is hosted and distributed by the I Like Beer and Capital of Craft podcasts. Event tickets can be purchased online.
- Vista EatWeek, June 24-26: Patrons of any Downtown Vista restaurant or brewery can earn free tickets to the Beer vs. Wine Sip-Off event. Customers earn one ticket for every $35 spent during the EatWeek period with a maximum of two tickets per receipt. Snapshots of receipts can be easily uploaded to receive a free ticket while supplies last.
- Rhythm & Brews Festival, June 28: The San Diego Brewers Guild will host 30 independent breweries to celebrate San Diego as the “Capital of Craft.” Experience an afternoon filled with incredible live music, exceptional craft beer and local vendors in a vibrant Downtown Vista outdoor setting. Tickets are available online.
The celebration is sponsored by the San Diego Brewers Guild, City of Vista and the Downtown Vista business community.
