Two new cores for Mother Earth

Vista-based operation Mother Earth Brew Co. introduces a pair of new year-round beers, Ascent West Coast IPA and All-Purpose Pilsner

Mother Earth Brew Co. is expanding their year-round lineup with the addition of the outdoorsy, West Coast-Style IPA, Ascent, and a top-shelf German-style Pilsner called All-Purpose.

Although Ascent technically soft-launched in the fourth quarter of 2024, available in limited distribution and at Mother Earth’s three tap rooms, the beer is now shipping network-wide in four-packs of 16-ounce cans and on draft. Ascent exemplifies the modern IPA, featuring tropical fruit and citrus-forward flavors with a dank finish, and a combination of light base malts to ensure it’s all about the hops.

Further down the beer spectrum, All-Purpose Pilsner offers a lighter option for craft-brew fans, combining German noble hops with traditional cold fermentation for a super clean finish the brewery describes as, “your new go-to Pils.” All-Purpose, unlike its IPA counterpart, will launch in six-packs of 12-ounce cans, but will go straight to network-wide distribution in cans and on draft.

Both beers represent exciting opportunities for innovation according to Mother Earth founder and President, Daniel Love.

“We spent a good part of last year, and even all the way back into Q4 of 2023, perfecting these beers through R&D and customer feedback,” says Love. “Ascent and All-Purpose are really exciting brews to finally see come to fruition after over a year of piloting. In a time where a lot of brewers are looking outside their core line for the next exciting beverage, we wanted to stay true to our roots and innovate within a category we still believe will win the long game: beer.”

Both Ascent and All-Purpose roll out through February via Mother Earth’s distribution network. Customers looking for early access are urged to visit Mother Earth’s taprooms this Saturday, February 1 for their release parties (Friday, January 31 for loyalty program members). Follow Mother Earth’s
