You can’t tell from all that San Diego sunshine, but the holidays are upon us, and with the season of yule comes a special stint where local breweries bust out holiday-inspired beers. This week, the Beer for Breakfast crew tastes two such beers produced by the fermentation elves at AleSmith Brewing. This year, they crafted a pair of Christmas beers, a Cranberry Ale featuring its namesake fruit, vanilla and cinnamon, and an imperial stout dubbed Holiday Hero bolster with chocolate, cacao nibs, vanilla and nutmeg. Both will amp up your holiday festivities and are available at AleSmith’s tasting room in Beeramar (AKA: Miramar).
