What We're Drinking 2026

Cellarmaker / Everywhere West Kept Secret | West Coast IPA (6.7%): NorCal and SoCal ‒ our powers combine! With a shared penchant for West Coast IPAs and New Zealand-derived hops, Cellarmaker Brewing and Everywhere Beer make for a beautiful partnership. West Kept Secret ‒ brewed and canned off at the former’s facility in Berkeley ‒ is absolutely loaded with Krush, Mosaic, Nectaron and Riwaka, making for intensely tropical aromas of pomelo, guava and açai berries.

Fair Isle French Pils | French Pilsner (5%): Fair Isle Brewing has quickly become a staff favorite around here. The farmhouse ales from this Seattle operation are exceptional, full stop. The brewers there has also shown a deft hand with dry-hopping ‒ notable for a brewery that specializes in styles outside of the American IPA. This new arrival from them has been an instant hit at Bottlecraft North Park, brewed with Washington-derived malt and Alsatian hops ‒ Mistral and Strißelspalt ‒ for a gentle peppercorn presence. À votre santé!

Jester King Doom Forge Figure 8 | Imperial Coffee Stout (12%): The iconic Jester King Brewery outside of Austin is renowned the world over for mixed-fermentation farmhouse ales. In more recent years, however, we have been seeing more “clean” beers emanating from the Hill Country farmstead. Doom Forge is a hulking imperial stout with a healthy dose of Suukala coffee from Figure 8, an Austin-based roastery. The terroir-driven coffee itself was grown in Inzá, a high-altitude town of Colombia, and is characterized by vibrant red fruit tones.
