An all-IPA lineup this week!

Cellarmaker Mo’ Simcoe | West Coast IPA (6.9%): Perennially demonstrating the efficacy of pairing Mosaic with a single other varietal, Cellarmaker comes back with Mo’ Simcoe for our drinking pleasure. Simcoe’s vaunted piney earthiness makes a beautiful dyad with a berry-forward crop of Mosaic. The tiled collage of a hop-cone glints outward like a Roman floor, subtly calling out the hops in question.

Societe / Fremont Best Friends Forever | West Coast IPA (7.2%): Local operator Societe has teamed up with Seattle superstars Fremont for this one! Best Friends Forever is a mix of old and newfangled hops, with veteran Centennial joining trendy Strata and as-yet unnamed HBC 1019 for an intriguing mélange. The lattermost is another cutting-edge project from the Hop Breeding Company out of Yakima, with aromas reminiscent of a tiki concoction. Cheers to amity!

Alvarado Street Southern Hemi | Hazy Double IPA (8.5%): Alvarado Street Brewing is more than adept at all styles of beer, but clearly has a particular interest in hazy double IPAs. This tropical getaway utilizes New Zealand hops in all forms and types for that ineffable benzine-and-juicy-fruit combo. Cascade from the South Island is pressed into service alongside Manilita, Nelson, Riwaka and Waimea for a thoroughly Antipodean experience.
