I am given to understand there is a sporting event this weekend. Following is a themed set of picks related to it!

Cellarmaker Juice Gymnastics | Hazy Double IPA (8.7%): Paying homage to athletic pursuits, Juice Gymnastics comes to us from Bay Area stalwarts Cellarmaker. The Golden Gate Bridge shines out of the fog in the foreground, linked to the Brooklyn Bridge and the Zakim (from New York and Boston, respectively), reflecting the collaborative nature of this hazy DIPA, for Other Half and Trillium are given co-authorship. Centennial, Citra, Galaxy and Nelson round out the hop-bill. This one is for those rooting for San Francisco!

Off Color Beer for Huddles | Amber Ale (5.2%): The avatar of Off Color is a delightful little mouse, who on the label of this beer appears to be the quarterback of a rodential football team. Listening intently are a group of capybaras, ready for the next play. Drink this beer while making important collective decisions, or during nail-biting moments during the big game!

Boulevard Tank 7 | Farmhouse Ale (8.5%): The flagship of the Smokestack series by venerable Kansas City craft brewery Boulevard, Tank 7 is a sterling example of an American Saison. Brewed with a touch of corn to lighten the body and fermented at high temperatures for maximum attentuation, Tank 7 is far too easy to consume considering its ABV. This beer is a year-round staple on our shelves but will surely be popular for fans of the midwestern team competing this Sunday!
