Pure Project collabs with Tablas Creek

Vista-based Pure Project Brewing and Paso Robles' Regenerative Organic Certified Tablas Creek Vineyard produce sustainable dry rosé

San Diego’s Pure Project Brewing continues to expand its product offerings in a collaboration with the world’s first Regenerative Organic Certified winery, Tablas Creek Vineyard of Paso Robles, California. Together, they have blended the first of their collaborative Pure Project Cuvées, a Provence-style dry rosé.

Founded in 1989, Tablas Creek Vineyard helped ignite the Rhône varietal revolution in California. In 2020, it became the world’s first Regenerative Organic Certified vineyard, pioneering a holistic approach to winemaking that champions soil vitality, ecosystem diversity, and social responsibility.

The Pure Project Cuvée Rosé was custom-blended in collaboration with Tablas Creek, showcasing the vineyard’s expertise in Rhône varietals and dedication to environmental sustainability.

“We’re excited to work on this custom wine with the team at Pure Brewing,” says Tablas Creek Proprietor Jason Haas. “It’s great working with like-minded partners, and this wine is just the beginning! We have plans for a white and a red coming later this year.”

This new rosé expands Pure Project’s wine selection at its five taprooms, complementing its existing offerings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.

“We’re always looking for ways to enrich the guest experience while remaining deeply connected to our values, and this wine we’ve crafted with Tablas Creek beautifully embodies that vision,” says Pure Project co-founder Mat Robar. “We’re excited to offer this rosé made using regenerative practices, exceptional ingredients, and a thoughtful approach that aligns with our shared commitment to sustainability.”

Pure Project Cuvée Rosé is a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Vermentino, and Counoise grapes. It opens with aromas of lime leaf, salted melon rind, nectarine skin, and cool river stone with a snap of fresh ginger. On the palate, pink grapefruit, rhubarb, and lemon verbena are balanced by a subtle minerality.

Pure Project Cuvée Rosé is available now by the glass and in bottles to go at all five of Pure Project’s taprooms in San Diego County. Follow Pure Project on Instagram for all specialty releases, event information, and more.
