North Park Festival of Beers returning April 4

The 16th edition of one of San Diego's most rocking beer fests to feature reunited Louis XIV, plus ales and lagers from 40-plus breweries

One of the original San Diego craft-beer festivals is back. The 16th annual North Park Festival of Beers presented by 91X, will take place on Saturday, April 4, returning to El Cajon Boulevard in its namesake community in front of the historic Lafayette Hotel. Tickets will go on sale online this Friday, January 9 at noon. There will be two sessions: VIP (taking place 12-4 p.m.) and General Admission (1-4 p.m.).

Attendees will be able to sample the best craft beer in the world. More than 40 San Diego County craft breweries will be pouring 80-plus ales and lagers at this year’s festival. Breweries confirmed to participate include Karl Strauss Brewing, TapRoom Beer Co., Mike Hess Brewing, Fall Brewing, AleSmith Brewing and a host of others.

There also will be multiple food vendors, craft and artisan vendors, plus a concert stage featuring San Diego’s own reunited Louis XIV with special guests The Film Company.

Best of all, proceeds benefit the San Diego Music Foundation‘s Guitars for Schools program. To date, over 2,100 guitars have been provided to 131 elementary school, middle school and high school music programs in San Diego County through this program.
