Mother Earth debuts Cali Screamin’

Vista-based Mother Earth Brew Co. embraces PSL season, releasing a new pumpkin-spiced version of its flagship vanilla cream ale

Mother Earth Brew Co. is building on its growing line of “Cali Family” cream ales by adding a new seasonal version packed with pumpkin spice, and it’s a lot more than just play on words.

Using Cali Creamin’ vanilla cream ale as a base, Mother Earth stayed true to their commitment to quality by using all natural ingredients to produce their latest flagship’s variant. To craft the seasonal brew, their brewing team added loads of pumpkin purée directly into the mash, followed by a proprietary blend of traditional baking spices which were added in the whirlpool.

“This beer is really the brainchild of one of our most tenured brewers, Mike Davis,” says Mother Earth Director of Brewing Operations Chris Baker. “He was responsible for a lot of the recipe input, beer name and even influenced the label art through some rough sketches that inspired our creative team.”

Cali Screamin’ is available for a limited time during the fall season throughout Mother Earth’s distribution network and at their Vista taproom on draft and in four-packs of 16-ounce cans. Fans can search the company’s beer finder to locate the autumn seasonal.
