Modern Times celebrating 10 years
Point Loma company's Decade of Decadence celebration to feature specialty beers
M[/dropcap]odern Times Beer is celebrating 10 years of boundary-pushing craft beer. To commemorate the milestone, Modern Times invites fans to the Decade of Decadence 10th Anniversary Extravaganza on Saturday, July 15 in Point Loma.
Decade of Decadence will feature a carefully curated beer list, with variations on familiar favorites and barrel-aged masterpieces. Headlining the beer list are a juicy, easy-drinking hazy double IPA brewed with experimental and revolutionary hops dubbed MT10, and a 10th anniversary barrel-aged stout matured in 10-year bourbon barrels called Decahex.
“I remember hearing about the opening of Modern Times. Ten years later, we’re excited to celebrate the history while toasting to the new future ahead,” said Garrett Marrero, co-founder and CEO of Modern Times and its parent company Craft ‘Ohana. “July 15 is going to be an epic day for our fans and teammates. We will be serving up some new takes on our classics as well as some new experimental beers. Thanks to all who have been a part of our Decade of Decadence. We hope to see you there!”
The anniversary party will be held at The Fortress of Raditude at 3612 Kurtz Street in Point Loma. Food truck vendors will include Taco Love, Krispy Boyz Chicken Sandwiches and Loompia Ladies with tunes by DJ D-Skwiz, SD Pop-Up Mini Golf and more! Tickets are available online for $50, with discounted tickets for designated drivers.
