It’s that time of year again. The San Diego craft-beer community is preparing for the “Oscars of Beer”, the 2025 San Diego Beer News Awards ceremony. Taking place the evening of Tuesday, March 25 at Societe Brewing in Kearny Mesa, the event is free, open to the public and sure to entertain. Representatives from breweries, local media and the beer intelligentsia will take the stage to name the fan-voted winners in 33 different categories covering everything from beer styles to design to customers service. As a preview, SDBN founder Brandon Hernández visited FOX 5‘s anchors, Raoul Martinez and (SDBN Awards presenter) Heather Lake, to show off the top three beers in the Imperial IPA category and announce the winner ahead of the event.
