In preparation for the 2024 San Diego Beer News Awards, Brandon Hernández presents the five top vote-getters in the “Light Beer / Adjunct Lager” category to FOX 5 Morning News Anchor Raoul Martinez. Those Mexican-, Japanese- and Filipino-style lagers hail from brewing companies all over the county: Burgeon Beer Co. (Carlsbad), GOAL. Brewing (North Park), Jacked Up Brewery (Escondido), Pure Project Brewing (Vista) and Stone Brewing (Escondido). After Martinez gets a taste of the contenders, Hernández announces the first-place beer, surprising the head brewer, who not-so-coincidentally happens to be just off-camera. Check out this very fun #SDBeer segment, then come be a part of the biggest night of the year for the San Diego brewing industry and its fans. The event is free to attend and will take place from 5 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 26 at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station.
Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station is located at 2816 Historic Decatur Road, Unit 116, in Point Loma
