FOX 5 Morning News: San Diego Beer News Awards
Pulling back the curtain to let viewers know which beers garnered the most votes in the Best Pilsner category ahead of tonight's big event
After much behind-the-scenes prep, and thousands of fan nominations and votes, the day has finally arrived. The 2026 San Diego Beer News Awards will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. tonight at Harland Brewing in Scripps Ranch. We can’t wait to put on a show for members of the local beer community. In fact, we’re so excited that we decided to let viewers of the FOX 5 Morning News and our friend Raoul Martinez in on the top vote-getters in one of the most highly contested beer-style categories, Best Pilsner! Check out this clip to see which four beers will be vying for a medal, then come on down to Harland when we announce the winner in a whopping 32 categories during our Oscars-style ceremony, featuring brewery owners, brewers, local media, industry supporters and fans of local ales and lagers. It’s going to be a great time, it doesn’t cost anything to attend and we hope to see you there!
