Duck Foot, Crack Shack extend partnership
Miramar brewery and local eatery brew a second collaboration beer while announcing even more to come
After the success of their Cluck Buddies tropical IPA, which launched last year, the Crack Shack and Duck Foot Brewing are excited to announce their latest cheeky collab: the D.I.L.C (Dad I’d Like to Cluck) Hazy IPA. Now pouring at all Crack Shack locations, D.I.L.C. will be available on draft through the summer.
With the announcement of D.I.L.C., the Crack Shack and Duck Foot want to to let beer fans know that
their cluck-buddy relationship will continue and more collaboration brews can be expected to
drop in the near future.
“We are stoked to continue our collaboration with Duck Foot Brewing! We worked on a snappy tropical IPA early last year called Cluck Buddies and are thrilled to create a special hazy IPA, Dad I’d Like to Cluck with them for Father’s Day this year,” explains Melynda Valera, Partnerships Coordinator for the Crack Shack. “It’s clucking awesome to work with another company that cares as much about great flavors, high quality and fun as much as we do—birds of a feather sure do flock together! We are looking forward to another collaboration later in the year as well as the return of Cluck Buddies for Valentine’s Day 2025!”
Coming in at 6.9% alcohol-by-volume, D.I.L.C. boasts a bright flavor of pineapple dancing on the palate without the acidity of the fruit. This fruit-forward entry on the taste buds is followed by a touch of lemon and then candied peach rings, and balanced with a finish featuring the perfect amount of bitterness, leaving one ready for another sip.
This brew pairs nicely with sunny San Diego weather and a side of the Crack Shack’s signature crispy fried chicken.
