The sixth iteration of the San Diego Beer News Awards will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31 and will have some serious star power care of event co-host Neda Iranpour. A longtime local journalist and current anchor of the CBS 8 Morning News, Iranpour is a craft-beer fan through and through, and has interviewed many of the county’s brewery owners and staffers, bringing their stories to the airwaves and helping raise awareness of the amazing ales and lagers in our own backyard. In this segment, she welcomes San Diego Beer News founder Brandon Hernández to talk about this year’s big event, along with the owner of last year’s Champion Brewery Award winner, Seek Beer Co., and Cody Morris, the VP of Brewing Operations for this year’s host venue, Harland Brewing.
