Capital of Craft Beer Festival returning for year three

The San Diego Brewers Guild and 91X proud announce the return of the Capital of Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, September 19 at the Broadway Pier, located at 1000 Harbor Drive in downtown San Diego. This high-energy celebration marks the return to the Broadway Pier, of one of the city’s most anticipated annual craft beer events.

Festival-goers will enjoy unlimited sampling from over 65 local craft beers, showcasing the world-class flavors that earned San Diego its title as the “Capital of Craft”. In addition to beer, the festival features a lively marketplace of arts, crafts and food vendors, making it a one-of-a-kind community experience.

This intimate beer festival is set to bring together some of the most beloved craft breweries, each highlighting their hoppiest creations. The Capital of Craft Beer Fest will not only celebrate hoppy beers but will also introduce a new tradition with the People’s Choice Hoppy Beer Award. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of hoppy brews and vote for their favorite, with the winner being crowned San Diego’s best hoppy beer—a title that has become an annual honor.

Adding to the excitement, the event will include a live performance by San Diego’s own Agent 51 (as heard on 91X), along with the 80s Resurrection band, presented by the Dead Man’s Party.

Best of all, a portion of the proceeds from the festival directly benefit the San Diego Brewers Guild, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting local, independent craft beer while supporting brewers through advocacy, education and community.
