It’s hard to believe it was seven years ago that Eppig Brewing first started captivating beer enthusiasts with their blend of spot-on Germanic lagers and West Coast IPAs from a small lease-to-brew facility in North Park. But lo and behold, they are celebrating their seventh anniversary this weekend at their Vista brewery and bierhalle (Saturday) and Point Loma waterfront biergarten (Sunday). To gear up for those dual festivities, the Beer for Breakfast crew broke into a pair of beers that’ll be on tap, starting with a deep, dark yet highly quaffable Schwarzbier, before moving on to a 7th Anniversary IPA that comes in at a fitting 7.7% alcohol-by-volume.
