Great Notion Beetlejuice Jr. | Hazy IPA (6%): It’s showtime! Just in time for Halloween, Great Notion has dropped a trifecta of outré offerings. Taking a cue from the brewery’s immensely popular Juice Jr., meet none other than Beetlejuice Jr., the self-described ‘bio-exorcist” and all-around agent of chaos in the striped outfit. With a dry-hop of nothing but Mosaic, let’s turn on the juice and see what shakes loose. I cannot promise that if you say the name of this beer three times, it will appear in front of you…but give it a whirl just to be sure?

Great Notion Evil Red | Tart Red Ale (8.1%): All right you primitive screw-heads, listen up! With one of the more macabre labels to grace our shelves of late, Evil Red pays homage to the Sam Raimi trilogy of Evil Dead films. With a cornucopia of fruits (apple, apricot, guava, passionfruit, pineapple and tangerine) all blended into purée, expect a veritable crimson vortex of flavors. Shop Smart. Shop S-Mart…oh, and Bottlecraft!

Great Notion Boo Berry Muffin | Smoothie Sour Ale (6%): With the possible exception of the maple-infused stout, Double Stack, no beer has served as a more prominent calling card for Great Notion as Blueberry Muffin. This confounding tart ale smells precisely like a convenience-store blueberry muffin, fresh out of the plastic. A special edition has been conjured into being for All Hallows’ Eve, dosed with marshmallow cereal for that Saturday morning cartoons feeling of nostalgia. Cheers and happy Halloween to all!
