Gene Fielden | Bottlecraft North Park Manager
At Bottlecraft, we carry bottles and cans of beer of all stripes, which can be enjoyed on the premises or taken away ‒ but also a dynamic draft-list! Following are three exciting beers currently on tap at Bottlecraft North Park in addition to in packaged format:
Everywhere All Green Lights | Hazy IPA (6.9%): Everywhere Beer, though barely four years old, feels as though it has been part of our craft beer landscape for much longer. We cherish their self-distribution efforts to San Diego whenever they come around, promising a smattering of top-quality lagers and IPAs. All Green Lights features one of my favorite hops of all time ‒ Motueka! This New Zealand varietal gives off tones of key lime and fresh-cut grass. In conjunction with Cascade also grown on the South Island and a healthy dose of Citra, this is a hazy IPA for the modern age.
Russian River Damnation | Belgian Strong Golden Ale (7.8%): This one is for those who love Duvel. The crew at Russian River Brewing has perfected every beer-style that they turn their minds to ‒ if you have not tasted a Belgian strong golden in a while, drop on by Bottlecraft North Park and ask for a taste! These expressive, high-carbonation ales are inordinately dangerous, since their ABV (alcohol-by-volume) is so well-hidden. This one only comes around from time to time, so embrace the temperature outside by drinking one!
Pizza Port Bacon & Eggs | Imperial Coffee Porter (8%): With the possible exception of AleSmith Brewing’s iconic Speedway Stout, no San Diego coffee beer inspires such devotion as Bacon & Eggs by Pizza Port. A sumptuous blend of roasted grains and earthy coffee, this winter seasonal has landed a bit earlier than usual. By sheer coincidence, I drank my final can of last year’s run just two weekends ago ‒ it was still delicious. Enjoy now or stash in the back of your fridge (as I did) for another day!
