For the second straight episode, the ILB crew is featuring a local craft-beer operation that’s celebrating three decades in business. This time around it’s Coronado Brewing Company (CBC), which grew from a small brewpub on its eponymous island to one of the county’s largest beermakers. CBC’s Brendan Kragel sits in to talk about the good ol’ days on Orange Avenue, the creation of ultimate “boat beer” Salty Crew and the return of some classic brews as part of the company’s 30-year anniversary festivities. All that, plus road-trip beers, fruit beer debates, fly fishing, questionable ESPN programming, Shark Beer Week and plans for an ILB podcast from a boat!
Coronado Brewing is located at 1205 Knoxville Street in Bay Park and 170 Orange Avenue in Coronado
