What We're Drinking 2026
Gene Fielden at Bottlecraft North Park

Gene Fielden | Bottlecraft North Park Manager

This week we have a very special all-Fieldwork edition of the picks!

Fieldwork Green Arrow Fellowship | West Coast IPA (7%): The brewers at Fieldwork in my hometown of Berkeley have a deep affection for the hops of New Zealand, and never miss an opportunity to blend them together with some of the Pacific Northwest varietals we all know and love. Green Arrow Fellowship is a brand-new recipe from up north, stuffed with Riwaka and Mosaic, for kumquat/pineapple tones and bitter punchiness.

Fieldwork Tropic Lands | Hazy IPA (7%): On the flip side of the IPA spectrum from the entry above, Tropic Lands is an easy-going hazy IPA. Hopped with Dolcita and Strata, this beer imparts a “strawberries and cream” impression, with honeydew melon and a hint of coconut to boot. Dolcita is a fairly new addition to the world lexicon of varietals, so if you have yet to experience it, pick up a can!

Fieldwork Vacation Far Away | Hazy IPA (7%): Combining the best of both worlds so far, Vacation Far Away is a hazy IPA hopped exclusively with a single varietal from New Zealand: Superdelic! Leaning hard on the vitamin-C-laden fruits of the tropics, this one is a mango peach raspberry batida in beer form. Vacation Far Away is only available in San Diego at Bottlecraft ‒ if this sounds appealing to you, drop on by!
