We have some big news: I Like Beer the Podcast is moving to video thanks to a new partnership with the San Diego Brewers Guild! But first, they’re treating you to their very first field trip episode of 2026. Follow along as the crew heads to Vista’s Guadalupe Brewery to hear the unbelievable story of owner Raul Deju, whose craft-beer journey began by getting turned away at the border while trying to smuggle a homemade brew system (complete with a “cool” flammable sticker that officials didn’t appreciate) into Mexico in his pickup truck. The trip culminates in a taste of the legendary “Drunk Elvis”, a massive 12.3% ABV (alcohol-by-volume) imperial stout that unleashes a circus of peanut butter, banana and chocolate on the palate. Pretty cool, huh? Press play!
Guadalupe Brewery is located at 631 South Santa Fe Avenue in Vista
