This week, Brewmaster Paul Segura checks in on the liquid handiwork of a past Karl Strauss colleague who has played a major role in shaping his current workplace, Bay City Brewing. Based in Point Loma ‒ with a sweet two-story bar and restaurant in downtown’s East Village ‒ that company recently celebrated its first decade in business. To celebrate, the BFB crew cracks open a pair of Bay City’s core beers: Fiesta Island Pilsner and a hazy IPA called Ron Murkundy. Cheers to 10 years of local independent beers!
Bay City Brewing’s headquarters is located at 3760 Hancock Street in Point Loma, and its satellite restaurant is located at 627 8th Avenue in downtown San Diego’s East Village neighborhood
