The latest Orange County beer company to make a splash in the San Diego beer scene goes by the name of Villains Brewing. About a month ago, this two-year-old venture celebrating cinematic bad guys and West Coast-style brewing made a home out of the two-story East Village abode that formerly housed Half Door Brewing. Murdered out and completely reimagined, this brewpub serves up creatively unpretentious grub with beers like the pair the BFB crew samples in this segment: Saca la Bolsita Mexican-style lager and Brethren of Filth double IPA.
