The opening of Chula Vista-based Thr3e Punk Ales Brewing‘s new tasting room in downtown’s Little Italy community seemed the perfect excuse for the Beer for Breakfast crew to put some “South in their mouth”. Tune in as they kick things off with a beer brewed especially for that new venue, an Italian-style Pilsner called Don Fanucci after the character of the same name from The Godfather series. From there, they move on to flagship hop-bomb, Third Ave IPA. It’s an episode with brews paying homage to an up-and-coming business’ HQ and satellite. FYI, the latter opens Sunday, September 3.
