This week’s segment is a coming-out party of sorts for San Diego County’s newest local, independent brewery. That operation goes by the name Sunny Grove Brewing and is located in the former home of Pacific Islander Beer Co. in Santee. Proud to be part of the East County beer scene and hyper-aware of the fact it gets darn hot there come this time of year, the husband-wife business has started off brewing light-bodied yet flavorful beers to help their patrons beat the heat.
