Most 30-year-old businesses are pretty set in their ways, but thanks to the arrival of new, passionate owners, San Diego Brewing Co. has thrown out its staid playbook in favor of innovation. Under the direction of seasoned beer-hospitality veterans Tyson and Kristina Blake (O’Brien’s Pub, West Coast Smoke & Tap House, The Pub at Lake Cuyamaca), the brewpub is pumping out new brews, revamping its food menu, taps and interior design, and turning the spotlight back to one of the county’s longest-running craft operations.
