This special segment is all about “the Oscars of local beer”, the fourth-annual San Diego Beer News Awards. A heartfelt initiative of Beer for Breakfast crew member and San Diego Beer News founder, Brandon Hernández, this Hollywood-style awards show will take place the evening of Tuesday, March 26 at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station. The official ceremony begins at 7 p.m., but from 5 to 7 p.m. you can mingle with members of the industry over a variety of beers that includes SDBNA gold-medal winners from previous years as well as a collaboration IPA brewed especially for the event by Stone, Hernández and brewers from 16 other San Diego brewing companies. Tune in for tasting notes on that limited-edition hop bomb then come out to this free event to taste it for yourself and celebrate the county’s unique, undeniably amazing craft-beer community!
