The Beer for Breakfast crew never needs an excuse to talk about a cool local brewery, but this week they have a particularly delicious excuse: the addition of an on-site deli. Carlsbad’s cycling-themed Rouleur Brewing recently added an in-house food concept at its tasting room. It’s called Onward & Upward Deli & Drinks, and it’s dishing out hot and cold gourmet sandwiches along with beverages going behind ales and lagers. Of course, the latter are what this segment is all about, so listen in for notes on Rouleur’s rice lager, Raida, and its “face-melter”, Beast Mode double IPA!
