Mission Valley Mall hasn’t had a solely sports-focused venue since it bid farewell to Seau’s the Restaurant in 2012. Well, until now. Earlier this month, Chula Vista-based Novo Brazil Brewing opened its fifth location and, though its stocked with taps serving the companies beers, booch and boozy cocktails, it’s just as much about the spectating experience thanks to 100 feet of video walls plus light shows and other special effects set to go off when home teams score. The arrival of this new bar and restaurant seemed the perfect time to feature this South Bay operation, so listen in as the Beer for Breakfast crew dives into a pair of Novo beers, Chula Pils and Corvo Negro imperial stout, both of which would go down well with NFL action this weekend in Mission Valley.
