One of San Diego’s legacy beer operations, Mission Brewing is perhaps best known among locals for its historic digs in the circa-1910 Wonder Bread factory in downtown’s East Village. The company has been brewing up a storm there since 2011, but last year it purchased Rough Draft Brewing and has since moved its headquarters to that business’ Miramar facility. In fact, the Mission team debuted a new tasting room there yesterday, and its stocked with core and small-batch creations, including the pair that the BFB team tries in this week’s segment, a terpene-infused IPA called Pipe Dreams and the venerable Shipwrecked Double IPA.
