Looking to support a legit local family-run business this weekend. Consider Mcilhenney Brewing, a world-renowned maker of hop-centric beers (and more). It’s run by the crafty clan that founded Alpine Beer Co. before selling that business and launching their second suds op in the very same spot as their hometown’s aforementioned namesake brewery. From May 23-25, they’ll have food trucks, specialty merch and, of course, rad beers, including the pair of West Coast IPAs the crew sampled on the air, Parallel Paradise and the dankity-dank-dank Nectaron Express.
