Take it from Brewmaster Paul Segura, the allure of Irish mainstay, Guinness, is mighty strong, but there’s something special about celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Irish-style beers produced by San Diego County breweries. Proof is provided by a pair of beers pulled in from Kearny Mesa businesses and sampled on-air by Segura and his Beer for Breakfast cohorts. Those Eire-inspired offerings include a dry stout from Societe Brewing called The Pugilist and an Irish-style red ale called Leaving Without Saying Goodbye from Hopnonymous Brewing.
