For the last Beer for Breakfast of 2023, the crew decided to go out on a high note…as in high-alcohol! But it actually wasn’t the booze that were the inspiration for the segment, it was the holidays. They couldn’t help it if Kilowatt Brewing‘s epic, Cleveland-style Christmas Ale just so happens to be high in ABV or that it just so happens to have an even brawnier bourbon barrel-aged sister beer, or that the Kearny Mesa-based brewery’s award-winning Chocolate Macadamia Nut pastry stout just so happens to have a double-strength one-off. They were innocent, as was special guest and Beer for Breakfast co-innovator Danielle Stuht, who returned to the studio to provide some of her trademark sparkle.
