Last week, Brewmaster Paul Segura and Danielle from 91X traveled to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival. San Diego breweries brought home a total of 18 medals from that event, the largest beer competition in the US, and in this episode the crew tastes a couple of medal-winning beers. They start things off with Tropical Terps, a terpene-infused IPA from Belching Beaver Brewery that took gold in the Experimental India Pale Ale category. From there, they move on to Mega Devil’s Teeth: Double Dutch S’mores Edition, one of two entries from Modern Times Beer to medal in the Dessert Stout or Pastry Stout category.
