Tune in for the latest on a local brewer who got his start after being hired on by Karl Strauss Brewing Brewmaster (and BFB’s very own) Paul Segura many moons ago. Since then, he’s gone on to open three start-up operations, all of which produced killer beers, and now he’s caught on at his hometown’s eponymous operation, Chula Vista Brewery. His homecoming is stellar news for the South Bay community and a big deal for the BFB crew, as it allows them to sample two of the first beers he’s brewed as part of his new gig, a hazy pale ale called War Planes and a West Coast IPA dubbed Xela.
Chula Vista Brewery’s headquarters is located at 294 Third Avenue in downtown Chula Vista, and its satellite brewpub is located at 871 Showroom Place, Suite102 in Chula Vista’s Eastlake neighborhood
